Who We Are 

The Potrero Boosters Neighborhood Association is a 501(c)(4) organization that informs, empowers and represents the residents of the Potrero Neighborhoods on issues impacting our community, in order to develop and maintain complete, vibrant neighborhoods.

We serve Potrero Hill, the Central Waterfront and Showplace Square, the area roughly bounded by Cesar Chavez Street, Potrero, 7th Street and the Bay.

Lisa has lived on the Hill since 1996. 

Favorite Spots: the Potrero Branch Library, the Good Life Grocery, UCSF Fitness Center

Favorite Happening: Deadenders Block Party

Why She's a Booster: "To help the neighborhood evolve thoughtfully and to encourage positive connections."

J.R. Eppler 

External Vice President 

J.R. has lived on the Hill for 15 years. 

Favorite Spots: Jackson Park, Potrero Hill Rec, Crane Cove, The Connecticut Yankee, 3rd Street Boxing Gym

Why He's a Booster: "I believe local government works best when the people are actively educated about and engaged in the process. The Boosters offered a way for me to become involved and meet other members of my community."

Kate has lived on the Hill since 2001.

Why She's a Booster: "The Boosters have a great love for the neighborhood but are open to positive change."

Donovan Lacy

Secretary 

Donovan has lived in the neighborhood for 15 years.

Favorite Places: Esprit Park, Crane Cove Park, Jackson Park, the Minnesota Grove, The Dogpatch Hub, Long Bridge Pizza, Connecticut Yankee and Olfactory Brewing.

Why I'm a Booster: I love our neighborhood and wanted to become more engaged.  The Boosters is a fantastic way to meet neighbors, learn about what is happening in the neighborhood and to ensure that your voice is heard by our city agencies and elected officials.

Emily Wang

Sergeant at Arms

Emily has lived in the neighborhood since 2009.

Favorite Places: "Potrero Hill Rec Center: the fields and the trails around it that branch into the neighborhood thru stairs and unmarked walkways that get us from our house to school. Starr King Elementary School is one of our kids' favorite places."  

 

Favorite Happenings in the Neighborhood: "October's Potrero Hill festival and Halloween between 18th and 20th."

Why I'm a Booster: "Because my neighbor, Carlin Holden, recruited me and made advocacy seem well worth the effort for my family and community."

Favorite Happening: Bring Your Own Big Wheel every Easter. "It's a joyful thing!"

Why He's a Booster:" I love to work with civic minded people to make our neighborhood and city and even better place to live."
